Latest Loves

Oh man. I feel like I need to create a new section called "Obsessed". There are so many posts with things I'm OBSESSED with! :) Here are the latests.

Let's start with Arcona:

LOVE them! I can't believe how instantly I loved these products. After one sample I knew I had to have it!
I've tried:
The Brightening and Cranberry Gommage ( I think I prefer the Cranberry)
Magic Ice and *Magic Dry Ice
*Wine Hydrating Mask
Berry Fruit Bar and Kiwi Bar
*White Tea Purifying Cleanser
Triad Pads

*what I purchased in full size

They carry this at Nordstrom and I was pleasantly surprised at the affordability of it. Especially after considering an $80 moisturizer. It's an all natural line for all skin types. Nordstrom is happy to give you samples, so run and check it out!! Thanks Sierra for the great recommendation!

Next Perfect Image TCA at home Chemical Peel 12% with 5% Salicylic Acid. Now I only recommend this to those who have had lots of chemical peels. I LOVE chemical peels and will forever be mad at myself for doing IPL's. (that's another story for another time) I happened upon this at home one and decided it was worth a try. The professional strength TCA's make you really peel. I only mild peeling from it after about 3 passes with an extra 5 min. I loved it. If it's your first time, for sure follow the directions. I'm going to up my percentage next time.

(this one is 15% I started with 12)

L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Tanning Wipes:

I took a random chance on these and I can't believe how in love I am. For 6 at $7 (sale at Wal-Mart) they are a steal!! I have found I get the best results if I exfoliate 24 hours before use. As soon as they dry you can put your clothes on without any orange residue, they make my face look fresh, and give a great glow. They can go a little streaky and orange if applied directly out of the shower, but it's ok. You can layer them for a deeper tan and longer lasting color.

Elta MD SPF 41 tinted physical sunscreen:

LOVE! A dab goes a mile, the tint makes it so I don't have to wear any foundation, and it's moisturizing. I've used other sunscreens in the past that would still deepen my melasma. I noticed no difference after wearing this in the sun. It truly protects. I will wear this the rest of my life. For reals amazing.

Target Up&Up Make-Up Brushes:
I randomly grabbed an eye shadow brush there about a week ago for around $2. It's awesome at an amazing price! I haven't tried any of the bigger ones, but I would definitely look into them! Great find!

GAP Sandals:

You guys, these are the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned IN MY LIFE!! I wanted them mainly for the color (I got cognac). I scored them on sale for $25 and wish I would have bought 2 pairs, or maybe one in every color. They are heavenly.

After hearing so much about Pretty Little Liars, I decided I had to see it. I started it on Netflix and am obsessed right now! Highly recommend it.

Yes- I still can't get over this color. Citron! It goes with everything!!! Are you dying about the home decor? Making me really want those pillows and chairs!

Finally, I think my latest favorite song find comes from a duet with Ne-Yo and Tim McGraw called She Is. I REALLY love rap and country duets. It's almost like they balance each other out and become neutral. ;)

Shampoo & Conditioner Are Your Foundation

Untitled #44

Our hair is something that we wear EVERY DAY.  It can transform you for the good, or the bad for that matter. With it being the same thing that people see everyday why wouldn't we want to put our money into it? Let's talk product. I find, too often, that people are willing to spend so much money on their cut and color, but then go home and use Suave (sorry, true) shampoo. Wouldn't you want to do all that you could to make sure the money you just spent goes a long way? It doesn't have to be $100 shampoo, but there are definitely better ones out there. That's when it's important to have your stylist choose the correct shampoo and conditioner for you. Think of it as a prescription. They know your hair better than anyone and know what it will need to look it's best. The best analogy I heard years ago is to think of your hair products like building a house. Your shampoo and conditioner are the foundation. Without a great foundation the rest kind of falls apart. Happy hair days people!!
If anyone is ever unsure about a product, please feel free to email me with any questions. :)

Poshmark

I can't remember how I came upon this app, but it's a pretty cool one! It was closet clean out time again and since I have so many clothes some of them are hardly worn. I was so excited to find this app that allows you to sell your clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories. They do take a cut, but they send you a free shipping label, so it's no additional charge to you! I sold a blouse today that I've had in my closet for A WHILE, and made $16! Score! The first 10 who sign up using the code HTUMY will automatically get $5 to their account. You don't have to spend the money at that site. It's pretty cool guys. :)

Outlets At Traverse

Outlets at Traverse MountainWhile I've thought this is way overdue, I am beyond thrilled that we are finally getting another Outlet mall! I am so excited about The Outlets At Traverse! They open tomorrow with a special preview tonight from 5-9. I am thrilled about the Michael Kors Store as well as the LOFT and the usuals like J.Crew, Banana Republic, and Gap. I am so excited to have another option. The way they are laid out reminds me a little of the Premium Outlets in Vegas. If it continues to grow and adds a few more high end brands, it could be just as wonderful. I hope to have some great fab finds to post for you all as well as check off a chunk of my Christmas list. :) Happy Outlet shopping everyone!!

Fabulous@40

Fashion Place Mall is turning 40! Hooray! Realistically I wouldn't care too much, however, I just got a pair of tickets to the event where I will be receiving a $40 gift card. Maybe even a goodie bag (thought I heard that somewhere). Super Happy 40 years to them! Ha ha! All I did was go to their Facebook page and emailed them a memory I had of me and Fashion Place Mall. Now I get to go! I'm so excited if for nothing else but a free $40! Write away people! Maybe I'll see you there!

Anyone Else Obsessed With Emily's Nails?

I put this on my toes before I saw it on her fingers (I'm liking it better on the fingers), and I have loved it! I did Kyoto Pearl by OPI shellac and it looks super similar. Rumor is she's wearing Baby's Breath by Essie. Loving this color!

This is the only pict I could find of them. She's had it for a couple episodes though, so we'll have to see if it makes it another week, 'cause it's prettier than this.

Oh and then there's this DRESS! I can't get over it. Searching for a look-a-like. Amazing!

p.s. anyone else sad Sean is gone? He was the classiest. Not to mention the handsomest and muscliest.

She Intrigues Me

I may need to frame this in my bedroom.

Free $$ From UHC

Do you have United Health Care Insurance? If you do, you can get a fee $75 gift card! Did you know? We found out about it a couple years ago. We recently are back on United's insurance, and each got our  FREE (although I'm sure we pay for it somehow haha) gift card. What you do is login to your account and take the health assessment. Once you've completed that, you'll receive an email (ours came the next day so be patient) with a link to a rewards website. You can choose from several cards. They have restaurants, apparel, spas. You can even divide your $75 among a couple cards. I got a GAP card each time. I love it! :) You can use it at any of the GAP Co. (old navy, banana republic, pipeline- etc.).
As a side note- I found this new app called Wrapp. It's really cool. You gift or "wrapp" gift cards you send to friends. You can add $ or just do free ones mainly for $5. I was able to get one from GAP- so yes $80 to GAP, FREE. Pretty killer deals if you ask me. (it has to be used in the store only though)

Our Disneyland

I know this is super old news, and I've since been to City Creek more times than I have fingers, I wanted to share anyways. Mom and I ended up going opening day to City Creek. I had read of some giveaways and the deals, and last minute saw they were giving away a $50 gift card to the first 100 at 10am.  In making my decision to go I decided why not? I felt since it was a big mall where people could be dispersed throughout, it might not be too bad. It wasn't! Not at all! Mom and I arrived about 9:30ish. I did neglect the Nordstrom Beauty Bash thinking I know quite a bit of makeup application already. Well, they had a huge bag of samples! Dumb of me!! Anyways, it was close but mom and I each got ourselves a bag of loot, including a $50 visa! :) We were on such an adrenaline high we couldn't shop for a while. It was absolutely worth it! It wasn't that busy either. I have a huge stroller than maneuvered great around everyone. In fact, Tyler and I went that Saturday and it was way worse. My only beef is the parking. Only Macy's and Nordstrom validate. Seriously love this mall though!
glad people were more excited about h&m than the $50! :)

City Creek

Salt Lake is getting a new mall! A fabulous mall!! I think we just got a little fancier. With stores like Michael Kors, Steve Madden, Tiffany's, Coach, Rolex... it's going to be the have all mall. I'm still trying to decide if I want to brave it tomorrow. I was searching deals to see if it was going to be worth dragging Mr. Crew around. Here's what I found. :) Yay, for a new mall and hopefully a better designed H&M!

What Are You Watching?

I'm in the process of a great spring post, but in the meantime...
Lots of our evenings are spent enjoying our favorite DVR'd (how did we live without this?) shows! Lame, I know. We thought that would change after we had a baby. Nope. I wanted to share some of my favs with you. We really watch too many for our own good, but these are a select few I just want to tell everyone about and think everyone should watch.
#1: FRINGE
We are HUGE "LOST" fans and when we knew it was going to be done, we needed something to fill our JJ Abrams void. I cannot say enough about this show. It's one that again ends with more questions than it began (minus the filler episodes), but that's what's so intriguing. This is my favorite show on TV. It's a little sci-fy and there are definitely episodes I have to close my eyes, but the storyline is fantastic. You'll want to start at the beginning for this one! Peter isn't too hard on the eyes either! ;)

WHEN: FRIDAYS ON FOX at 8

#2: COMMUNITY
They've been on hiatus for the past few months, but finally return next week. By far the funniest show on TV. Seriously hilarious. It's about an array of different people who go to a community college and form a study group, then become friends. You'll laugh out loud.

WHEN: THURSDAYS on NBC at 7
March 15th

#3: REVENGE

Lots of people I know started watching this and could not say enough about it. I cannot say enough about it! Definitely dramatic, scandalous, and suspenseful! It's so so good! It's about a girl who was taken from her father after he was framed. She goes back to the town (The Hamptons) where it happened to get revenge on those who were responsible for framing her father. Another you'll want to start from the beginning.

WHEN:WEDNESDAYS on ABC at 9

#4: MAD MEN

We had heard how wonderful this show is so we started the DVDs. I love it more than Tyler does though. It's very dialogue heavy and quite immoral I have to say, but so intriguing. It's set back in the 60's and about men in advertising. We're only in season 3, but season 5 starts soon!

WHEN: SUNDAYS on AMC at 8
March 25th

Who Wore It Best

2012! Can't believe the Holidays have already come and gone! Hope everyone had a great time! Hope I can get back on blog track here! Sheesh!
Well, since I always feel the need to preface posts:
I never watch Glee- just not my thing. I know so many people who LOVE it though. Every once in a while I've watched it to see what the fuss is about (since nothing else is on). I still am not a fan. However, for those who do watch it... did you notice something a little familiar..? I watched last weeks and it must have been a re-run. Looks like it aired in September. Lea's skirt was a little fuller, which I'm still debating about how much I liked.
Funny. :)
The only picture I could find- sorry!

Gwyneth on Ellen- I did a post on it here.

I Had An Idea The Other Day

I am on the go most of the time, but still checking social networking daily. I love you dear iphone. Since we all know how great I am about posting daily, wondering if anyone would be interested in following me on a twitter or facebook page? I'm thinking I would use it for random sale/shopping info. Like "hey just went to gap- extra 30% off clearance" type stuff. Thinking it will be a great way to keep you current and informed. I think I need to get with the program. What do you think?

M.I.A.

So, I promise this great post on one of my (probably the only) fab finds from Black Friday, and then what happens......
my computer crashes.... DEAD for a week.
Sweet. I have not been able to catch up since then! I started my post in Polyvore on the ipad, so I promise to have it up soon (have you ever tried polyvore on an ipad? not the smoothest). So dumb! My apologies!

p.s. googled "missing in action" for a cute graphic- all I got were missing people and nakeds (what the?!). Don't recommend it. ba ha ha

Duston's Killer Deal

I'm not sure if I've mentioned on B lovely (or if it's just a million times on my personal blog) how much I love Duston Todd Photography. But I'm going to tell you anyways. I love him! I didn't use him for my newborn picts and very much regret it. Right now he has an offer he's calling his End of 2011 Killer Deal. He will let you negotiate how much you want to pay. Amazing. He's really so great to work with! He shoots with film- which is SO pretty! We've used him twice and both times he really takes his time to position you and then take the photo rather than taking a million and hoping one great one turns out. He's a blast to work with and has pays great attention to detail. You can tell he truly has a passion for what he does. Get your picts done for X-Mas cards! (is it really time to be thinking about that again-?) Here is one of my fav picts he took of us 5 years ago. So talented then and amazingly talented now! Tell him Jenn sent you! ;)

I Apologize

I can't believe how fast June is going, and how much I've checked out from blogging! I haven't touched my computer in weeks. Trying super hard to get nursery and house done and organinzed before July, so I can just enjoy the month before baby. Hopefully I'll get it done super soon and show it to you all. I do however, have a super fun post airing on The Dating Divas tomorrow. It's how to go from a day to night look in minutes. You'll all have to check it out. I hopefully will be back to my normal blogging self shortly! Thanks for staying tuned!
